  • Prepare housekeeping status report and room maid daily assignment
  • Issue floor key or room assignment to room maid
  • Ensure that there are enough supplies of linen, guest supplies and cleaning equipment at all times
  • Supervise cleaning on the allotted floors and areas including guest rooms, corridor, and staircase and floor pantry
  • Checking and supervise daily, weekly and monthly project for room maids
  • Report maintenance work order on the floor
  • Coordinate with staff for monthly inventory
  • Coordinate with room service for tray clearance
  • Report any safety or security hazard to the security department
  • Ensure room must ready and clean with follow the standard before released to the front office
  • Responsible of guest comment or complaint
  • Assisting in the event of an emergency
  • Check all vacant rooms and occupied rooms daily so as to ensure they are supplied and presented to the standard of the hotel
  • Report any rooms which do not require service e.g. - do not disturb and no service required
  • Work closely with other departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage and Maintenance
  • Responsible in monitor and controlling housekeeping policy and procedures
  • Responsible of handling soiled linen and clean linen
  • Responsible of lost and found item inside the room
